Good morning!
Summer is slowing down now. The barn is, like, seriously quiet after the bustle of camps.
The past two months have been full of kids running through obstacle courses in the arena on fake horses, drawing pretty pictures, and of course learning to muck stalls and clean tack!
I'm going to miss all of my spa days at camp- the massages felt sooo good, and the braids in my mane and tail looked totally fabulous!
I really liked my campers this year, because they fed me cookies and even brought me carrots! They were all gentle and kind to me, so I decided that they can be my friends. In a way, I'm sad to say goodbye. But I also know that some of them will come back for riding lessons. And that makes me sooo happy! I like being able to teach my young friends how to be strong and independent, both in horseback riding and in life. I even act like I'm hard to get going just to make their legs strong! I'm so excited to keep working with them an finding put where they end up in the horse world!
Except that means I have to work... Ugh. Maybe they'll just bring me an apple.
Tattah for now!
Remember to keep your Sunny side up!
