Unicorn Ranch

I always knew I would teach.  I started teaching in my early twenties, not riding, but English as a second language to teens.  I followed that with teaching dance to tots, pre-school, farm education, gymnastics.  If I knew how to do it I taught it.  And I did know how to ride.

I was living at Joder Arabian Ranch when I was given the opportunity to offer pony rides.  It took me less than week to realize that I needed to know more in order to teach better.  I spent a year at the Rocky Mountain School of Horsemanship, as an intern in just that, horsemanship.  Since then (1999) I have taught horseback riding, horsecare, horsemanship and ground work; with the occasional foray into livestock care.
